AI advisory & implementation

Put AI to work inside the
company you already run.

Tillerbridge helps established companies get AI from intent to production: the systems, the workflows, and the guardrails to run them safely. A senior team that covers both the engineering and the operation. No bench, no handoffs.

What we do

Three kinds of work, one standard.

Most companies have the tools by now. Far fewer have the results. The distance between the two is process, integration, and governance, and that's the work we do.

Advisory

Work out where AI fits

A clear-eyed read on where AI pays off in your operation and where it very much doesn’t. Priorities, build versus buy, and a roadmap your own people can run.

Implementation

Build it into production

We design and build AI systems inside the systems you already run: workflows, integrations, and the handoffs between people and machines. Pilots are cheap. We’re here for what happens after.

Governance & guardrails

Run it safely

Access rules, data boundaries, monitoring, and policies people actually follow. The goal is AI your auditors, your lawyers, and your operators can all live with.

How an engagement works

Small first, then earned.

We plot a route from a small, fixed-scope start to a system your own people can run. Each step only happens once the one before it has paid off.

What you can hold us to

Four things, in writing.

No metrics we can't stand behind and no borrowed scale. Just the commitments we make on every engagement.

  • 1 day

We read every enquiry ourselves and reply within one business day.

  • 0

Vendor commissions or referral fees. We resell nothing.

  • 100%

You own what we build. It runs on your infrastructure, documented.

  • Fixed

Every engagement starts with a small, fixed-scope assessment.

How we work

The rules we don't bend.

Fix the process first

A broken process doesn’t get better when you automate it. AI just scales the confusion faster. We straighten the workflow before we wire anything into it.

Least privilege, always

An AI gets the access the work needs and no more, like any new hire. The most useful limit on an AI is where it’s allowed to send data.

You own what we build

Everything we build runs on your infrastructure and is documented so your team can run it without us. No black boxes, no dependency by design.

Production is the finish line

The value shows up in the operation, not the demo. We measure an engagement by what is still running, and still paying off, a year later.

Straight dealing

No commissions, no lock-in, no theater.

We don't resell software, take vendor commissions, or build things only we can maintain. If AI is the wrong answer for a problem, we'll tell you and save you the money. Trust is easier to keep than to win back.

We also run two non-commercial organizations: the Institute of Applied AI , which publishes public research on enterprise AI, and the Association for Executive AI Leadership , a vendor-free peer network for executives. Common founders, separate brands, nothing funnels: neither sells anything, including us. They exist to get the thinking right, and you're welcome to judge our work by them.

Who we are

Builders and operators.

Most AI projects fail between the technology and the operation. So we cover both seats: the people who build the systems, and the people who have run the kind of teams they land in.

Tillerbridge is a senior team, with Nick Major on engineering and product and Isaac Major on operations. Who we are, and where the name comes from, is on the about page.

Questions

A few things people ask.

Who actually does the work?
We do. There is no bench and no handoff to a junior team after the sale. What you see in the first call is who builds the thing.
What does an engagement look like?
It starts small: a short, fixed-scope assessment of one part of your operation, with a concrete recommendation at the end. If the recommendation is "don’t build this," we’ll say so. Larger implementation and advisory work only follows when the small piece has earned it.
Do you resell software or take vendor commissions?
No. We take no referral fees and resell nothing, so a recommendation only ever has one reason behind it.
What size of company do you work with?
Mostly established companies from a few hundred to tens of thousands of employees, in traditional industries. The hard parts there are legacy systems, regulation, and change, and that’s the work we like.

Tell us about the work.

A few lines on what you're trying to do is enough. We read every enquiry ourselves and reply within one business day.
